My food journey began in the bustling kitchens of central London, where high standards and high stakes were the norms. As a restaurant manager, I learned that food safety is a non-negotiable pillar of the culinary world. It's not just about making delicious food—it's about making food that's safe.

Managing a large team in this dynamic environment, I ensured every chef and staff member upheld the highest safety standards. Food safety became a real culture of our establishments under my watch.

We passed audits with flying colors, not just meeting but exceeding the expectations of local authorities. My dedication to food safety became more than protocol; it became an obsession.

My Publishing Journey

Transitioning from professional kitchens to the digital realm, I created PressToCook.com.

It started as a small niche blog for kitchen appliances, where I could share my unusual experience of having hands-on experience with many, MANY kitchen appliances.

The site began to balloon in popularity, and before I knew it, we had over 2,500 articles written. I then started to write about food safety, and questions started to pour in. It was at that moment I realized there was a gap between industry know-how and everyday practice. I went on to publish Food Safety 101 - Covering the basics of food safety, but I knew there was so much more to be shared.

That's when the seeds for TheFoodSafetyDad.com were sown.
